I have been asked to set up an Aruba AP505 RW wireless network.
Never done one before, but apparently, these use one of the APs as a virtual controller.
I have set one up and I believe it is a virtual controller, but when I add more brand new ap's to the POE switch we have for these aps, it boots up but it is not showing on the APs section of the virtual controller.
The default password for these APs is the serial number. I am trying and trying on any APs I add to the POE switch, but they are refusing to let me on either with their own serial numbers or the virtual controller password.
    Does anyone have any ideas?
I should have another AP showing here and not getting anything. It is getting it's DHCP from our windows server, so I can go on it's web interface, but totally unable to log into it to find out what is going on. I try to download sonnerie telephone portable gratuite

    Thanks in advance.

    HI Hegmann Kris

    try the following:
    admin
    password

    or admin
password is serial number all capitals.

if that does not work factory reset the AP
Where is the reset button on the IAP and how do I reset the IAP? (arubanetworks.com)

there after try again. it should work with either password combinations

Make sure, if you switch allow that configuration, that the untagged or native VLAN are the same on all ports that connect the APs. The APs should automatically appear in your first controller and fetch firmware and configuration including the admin password that you should change on first connect. For the added APs, you could try the password that you set for the VC, but if they don't show up in the AP list I expect the configuration is not synced yet.

Check if you can upgrade the virtual controller firmware before adding additional APs (make sure the other APs are disconnected when you upgrade unless they have joined the cluster already).

If the APs have been used in a different place, it could be that they have been locked to not join an Instant cluster, in which case a hard reset (see the other answer) should help.

You can under maintenance check the virtual controller AP logs.
