Procurve 2524 - LLDP

    We're trying to enable LLDP in support of voice over ip phones. We want to use LLDP to notify the phone of which vlan to use.

    The documentation provided by HP doesn't mention the word, "LLDP" once. However, the commands do exist in the CLI and I've also found some information in Google.

    Does anyone have any code examples or a guide that explains how to configure LLDP?

    The Procurve 2524 only barely supports LLDP: it's really constrained in ROM/RAM. The firmware release notes (f.05.61 release notes) give details but you're probably out of luck, if you want to do anything fancy.

    you needed LLDP-MED

    2524 don't support LLDP_MED
