At one living quarters we have multiple AP along with mutliple internet accounts. What I thought we could do is set up a HP Procurve AP 420 with an HP J8441A -
https://www.insight.com/search/ppp.web?materialId=J8441A to reach the entire facility. To put the coverage distance in yards, I would say we need a 30 yard radius to cover the entire facility. The J8441A is outside on the center building. While I can connect on the end, I only receive one bar. This is equal to what I was receiving before I added the external antenna. I properly terminated the unused antenna.
Is there a repeater or booster I can add so we can eliminate our extra internet connections? Does the antenna need a booster to receive full capabilities? We have 3 total connections and would like to just have one if possible.
