  • 1.  pyaoscx v2, the second version of the AOS-CX Python SDK, has been released!

    This version will serve as the backbone of further AOS-CX automation projects, such as new versions of the Ansible collection and NAPALM driver.

    Highlights include: 

    • Object-oriented design allows for better interaction with classes and minimizes lengthy function calls
    • Enhanced structure around Error reporting and logging
    • Support for both v1 and v10.04 CX REST API
    • Option to use factories when utilizing the new object-oriented structure. See the /workflows/workflow.py example for a demonstration of how to do this.

    Please read the RELEASE-NOTES.md and the README.md files in the SDK for further details on the changes.

    Special thanks to the development and test teams that helped release this new version!

    Any ETA on when the NAPALM integration will be upgraded to use the new pyaoscx v2?

    Shame on me :-(. didn't check dates when this pop up in my email. It would be very helpful to have something new here. I have several prospects that new FW version support would be very helpful.
