is there a way in Clearpass to send account information via mail?  Let's say i want to receive each day a mail with the accounts which have an expiry date which is six months from now?

You can run a report in insight. It can give you a list of accounts that will expire within a certain date. As of today you can not schedule that to run As a nightly since you have to pick an exact date, but it would be a good feature request to submit.

The other option is you can use the open API and run you own query against the guest database.

We use the SQL query route using appexternal credentials. Only thing to watch is whether this account has enough rights to view all the info you want in the report.
