  • 1.  Removing the "ARUBA" logo from a guest email receipt

    Posted Aug 26, 2025 11:07 AM

I am creating a "GuestManager Receipt" template.

When using the default template the email sent to the user contains the "Aruba" logo at the top and a copyright at the bottom:

I cannot find where to remove these or change these to my own logo and comments.

Is there a guide on how to modify all the skins, pages, templates, etc?

You'll want to edit the HTML used in the receipt template.

??  That is not very helpful.   Examples or more context would have been nice.

    Hi

How to edit and adjust the guest pages and email is a bit of a jungle...

This specific line can either be a checkbox in the skin configuration where you have one box with the text and one checkbox with to enable or disable the copyright information

In addition to this you have a footer field on email template

I think the text may be different depending on the version you are running

Thank you.  I do think i figured this out.

    1. I created a new template from the wizard.
    2. I then used HTML in the "Notes" to setup the way i want it to look.  I copied the HTML from the default page and modified it a bit to look better.
    3. I removed some fields from that template to also make it look better.
    4. I then customized the EMAIL RECIEPT and changed the SKIN from "Use Default skin" to "Blank Skin" ... apparently in the default is that huge logo.

Overall, i understand more about this process, but think HP did a lousy job documenting this.  I cannot find anything of value to help with these templates, skins, guest portals, email receipts, etc.  I moved from ISE to CP and cannot say ISE was any easier or documented any better, but over time i learned it.   Maybe i'll do some videos and post them out there for other new people.  Thanks again.
