    Hi,

I'm running clearpass 6.4 (VM)  on a dev server that isn't connected to a UPS. This does mean that in the event of a power fail the disk gets trashed..... well everything works but clearpass. Apache is up and running but it appars the back end databases are corrupt.  Four out of the last five power outages have resulted in me having to rebuild clearpass from scratch and import my latest backup file.

I've heard on some other threads that CPPM splits your disk into 2 partitions so that in the event of a failure you can revert to the "other" partition. Is this true? If so what are the commands to let me switch between partitions?. While I'm getting farily quick at rebuilding clearpass if theres something else I can try it would be good.

    Rgds

    Alex

If it was an upgrade from 6.3 to 6.4, yes there should be another partition.

You can do this at the cli under the system command.
