Dear all, I have a switch here where afaik a firmware update went bad years ago. Today I thought I might give it another try. The system powers up but apart from the SYS LED nothing is blinking. All RJ45 ports seem to be dead.

I used the Console port and can access the device with PuTTY. The output says (please see attachment):

    > Image program does not exist

I assume this means that the firmware can't be read or is missing? Since I'm a newbie to low level messing around with a network switch I would need a step by step explanation. Hopefully the switch can be revived. Thank you all in advance.

Thank you so much for your detailed answer. Will try over the weekend.

    One question:

Where can I download the latest firmware (1950_12XGT-CMW710-R5106P06.bin)?
