    Hello,

    I have a question regarding seamless roaming of a client between a mixed 802.11ac and 802.11n environment.

    Suppose  a client is making a VOWIFI call and is connected to a 802.11ac AP and decides to roam to a better suited AP without 802.11ac support (only 802.11n).

     

    Will the client actually disconnect  the 802.11ac AP and reconnect to the 802.11n AP (due to different coding techniques for instance) or will the client seamleaslly roam the the 802.11n AP without any interuptions (EAP)?
