Hi All,
I have a request from customer to be able to setup some VMs in a master/slave scenario and was looking to utilise VSX pairs to accomplish this, but not sure if it would work as i have not worked with VSX previously (although i have worked with both VSF and IRF). Have attached a diagram for explanation. Basically, they would have some VMs currently running in production (active), with say, software version 1 running. Then they would like to be able to work on the VMs on standby, test if version 2 works, and if they are happy with the upgrade, then be able to "flick the switch" for them to be active whilst the original active VMs now become on standby (and vise-versa after they upgrade to version 3, etc). The initial active VSX pair (Core 1) would need to be able to sync the config to the standby pair, and when Core 2 becomes active, the LAG to the access switches becomes active. I have started to read about OSPF and VRRP, but just throwing this question out to anyone if this sort of scenario is even possible.

Regards,
James
