    Hi Guys,

Is there anyway you can delete all of the SNMP communities on a 9304 without previously knowing what they are?

When i do a show run, they come up as follows:

    snmp-server community ........ rw
    snmp-server community ........ rw
    snmp-server community ........ rw

I haven't configured these so i don't know what the ASCII string is. But i want to get rid of them without resetting the switch, Any idea's much appreciated,

    Cheers

    Hi Johnathon,

    From the Security Guide:

    ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/networking/software/9300m-9408sl-Security-Jun2005-59906029-Chap02.pdf

    ProCurveRS(config)# enable password-display ProCurveRS(config)# show snmp server

Alternatively you can logon to the web interface with a rw community name and see and delete them from there.
