We config Aruba controller Aruba 7005 Active/Standby
- We have 1 SSID OPEN+MAC ADDRESS and this SSID will getting DHCP from Controller

Client can connect and getting DHCP

problem

- some time Client can connect but not getting DHCP from Aruba Controller 

Resolve 

- Client restart 

- Client disconnect and reconnect

- We try to restart Controller and then client can get dhcp

This is a common issue if you don't put the ACL "any any service dhcp permit".  If you put DHCP from user or to a specific DHCP server, you will have the issues you describe.'

I see the role, but I don't see the ACL attached to the role.  Change the default role to "authenticated" and see if that fixes your issue.

I see user authentication role  show guest of client but default select deny all rule.

First, Aruba does not recommend DHCP over controller. Especially, for clients more than 500. 

Did you check the pool or the logs. If the pool is full, you may not reconnect. One of your clients may attack over dhcp (starvation, poisining vs).

And yes ACL may be a factor for dhcp. But if you are taking the IP address or some are taking some not, I susspect for lack of dhcp pool or Aruba's dhcp server.

You should open a technical support case with Aruba/HPE to have your problem resolved.
