    Hello,

     

    I did a set up with an IAP 387 following this guide.

    You can see  the setup in the photo attached.

    It is currently working because I activated the bpdu filter on the interfaces the 387 aps are connected to.

    But I don't really understand why they got blocked in the first place.

    Do I have to disable the 5 GHz link somehow, becuase it creates a loop with the 60GHz link? And if that is the case how will the 5Ghz serve as a backup?

    Is there any best practice for spanning tree over these types of point to point link?
