HPE FlexNetwork 5130 EI doesn't support CX4 cable (and related Local Connect module) as the HPE FlexNetwork 5120 EI had.

What do you mean with "stack"?

Were HPE FlexNetwork 5120 EI pair used previously to form an IRF using CX4 cables + Local Connect modules (totally possible)?

    HI,

By stacking if you mean an IRF fabric than 5130  switch can form an IRF fabric only with devices in the same series. You cannot stack 5130 with 5120 .

That's exactly the reason why I asked the OP what he/she means with the "stacking" term.

I doubt the OP did "stacking for management" (so not IRF) using valuable CX4 interfaces (totally possible but not reasonable)! never say never...
