    Hi all

i've been running DURs on switches and  mobility controllers for years. A while back I upgraded  my dev controller from 8.10.x to 8.13.1 and. everything "just worked"  all previously defined  DURs continued to work as expected. today I upgraded to 8.13.1.1  and everything seemed to be working ok. clearpass was donig the same thing and passing a  DUR enforcement  prtofile to the controller.

Upon loging onto the controller however, i noticed tht none of my usual DURS wwere there, users being assigned local controller roles.

Looking through the logs I found

Dldb Role: ND_MYDEVICES_Controller-3243-4 Cannot be assigned downloadable role, role is in error state

Tried to revert back to  8.13.1.0 but. same thing happens.

Cant seem to find any docn on whst to do regarding investigating above  error message

All i was doing today was looking into an issue aith CoA not working ( required changing the  CoA port to be 3799 instead of 5799)

Any idea where to start looking.

only thing i can think of is to  check the  cppm root CA is installed on the cotnroller and. possibly to re-enter the cppm credentials  defined on the controller to download the DUR

So , Suspected issue was LastPass fillinhg in. cppm credentials  for downloading. DURs with incorrect info while i was changing.  something else.  restored correct credentials, doidnt make any difference.

Rebooted controller back into8.13.1.1 ( which was where i dodnt notive it working originally)  and the *amn thing stated working

Now have  CoA working on controller (and. therefor ClearPass Onguard  on a wifi client) and DuRs for all networks

Still not 100 % certain why i got the error
