We generally recommend to use local switch user details in AMP manage page but not radius. If radius credentials are correct but still config is unknown or error state mostly it is timing out.
In screen shot I see timeout errors, we can increase telnet timeout value under Device setup> communication page and do audit.
Note: Try use local switch user instead of radius and verify config status aswell.

Hi, i see this:

How could it be in time-out?
For login we use radius credentials, should i configure something specific?
What about "enable ssh key authentication"?

Stefano

Hi Gorwi,
i cannot see any error in Device > manage but i double-checked che login user&pass.
Switches have radius enabled and I configured radius and local user with the same name and same password.

Stefano

Form the Device > manage page, it should show the details of 'Error'. Does it say SSH communication failed?
AirWave uses Websocket/SSH communication for config check. Please add the correct SSH credentials (including enable password, if present) and audit the devices for Config audit.

Subject: Switch configuration backup is not working on AirWave
Hi people.
i'm going to import 30 switches into AirWave with SNMPv3. I tried adding some as test, but i can see that configuration backup reports "Error" or "Unknown".
These are the commans i set on the switches:
snmpv3 enable
snmpv3 user AirWave plaintext auth md5 <md5psw> priv des <despsw>
snmpv3 group managerpriv user AirWave sec-model ver3
password manager user-name airwave plaintext <userpsw>
This is what i set on AirWave "Aruba" object profile under Device Setup > Communication:
Obv I double-checked all passwords and enabled SNMPv3 on AMP.
After some minutes all the switches are added in the Devices>List but I see this for the backup:
Is there something else I should configure into the switches?
