  • 1.  Switch Offline in New Central but not Central Classic

    Posted Nov 19, 2025 10:47 AM

When I log into "new Aruba Central" I have one switch that has alerts that it is offline. . When I toggle to "Classic Central" everything looks good.  Is there a port or protocol difference between the two platforms that would cause this?   All of my other Central Managed switches seem to be fine and all of them are on the same firmware revision.

New central can ingest more telemetry event, perhaps that's why.

We have seen the same issue and it changes which switch shows down and or up.

Same here. About a third of our switches are offline in new central but all are fine in old.

We are monitoring mode only and I believe the config is pretty much the same for all switches as they were templated when they were all deployed recently.

if you find any discrepancies please open a TAc case.

Also note that New Central is now GA in some clusters.
