  • 1.  Syslog and Logging - Aruba 8325 to Syslog server

    Hi there we are using Solarwinds to view logging and sflow data from our Aruba 8325 cores but it is not showing up in Solarwinds. However all other switches (Aruba 6300M) are. Any idea what the issue could be? Thanks

    sflow
    sflow collector 172.18.3.66 port 2055
    sflow agent-ip 172.27.1.253

    logging 172.18.1.4

    logging 172.18.3.66

    logging 172.18.3.69

    logging facility local2

    Without any knowledge of your network:

    Would your environment require you to specifically configure Syslog to a particular VRF and then also to a particular interface?

     I'm just trying to get the syslogs and logging information to the syslog server. Is there a guide or anything I need to follow?

    There are two components to my original thoughts here:

    Look through below document. Specifically the "Remote syslog commands" and the VRF parameter.

    Also for the source interface, look for the "ip source-interface" command set
