  • 1.  Syslog Configuration On Aruba Controller

    Hello everyone,

I need to configure syslog on an Aruba controller managed via Central. Here's the situation: we have a corporate SSID with 802.1X authentication, and after a successful login, we'd like to send the authenticated username and IP address assigned to the user to an external syslog server. Is this possible? What process or settings do I need to enable to achieve this?

    Thanks In advnace

if you mean Instant or AOS10 APs   then it should under logging

if you are referring to AOS10 gateways see below

    Hello Ariyap,

Thank you for your response. I've already configured the syslog server, but I was testing which syslog messages are being generated.I have enabled this logging levels

I want both authentication and deauthentication events to appear in the syslog, but currently, I only see authentication logs - and even those are inconsistent. For example, only about 6 out of 10 authentication events are logged when checked on the controller side
