Transfer configuration from HP 1910-48G to Aruba 2350-48G

    Hey guys,

     

    In our data center we are replacing our rather old HP 1910 switches with the Aruba 2350.

    What would be the smartest way to transfer the existing configuration? I planned on exporting the config from the old switch and copy the content of it into the configuration file of the aruba 2350. I'm fairly new to switch configuration so any tips, tricks and gotcha's would be highly appreciated.

    The HP OfficeConnect 1910 and an Aruba 2530 has different operatingssystem and are different from each other. Inventory the configuration of your switch ports and build your new configuration from scratch.

     

    Off course you can use the GUI for reaching this but maybe it helps if i send you the CLI reference guide.

    If your not familiar with configuring switches the best way is to work with your local Aruba partner.
