Hi,

with this configuration in a procurve 4204vl  os 11.24

trunk B1-B2,B4 Trk1 Trunk

B1 port is  MDI, is this normal ?

The other switch connected is a hp blade switch.

I have not improve of this configuration, an for me the problem

in this port status ... any idea?

Hi

This just refers to the mode the port is running in, MDI or MDI-X. If you have no performance issues, this isn't an issue by itself. If you do have performance issues this might point to a contributing factor, but you need to contact support for help on that.

It will be random with 1000T, if you have a straight through cable.
