The enhanced Cutover Validation Tool provides a guided workflow for validating Aruba Central-managed infrastructure during cutovers, migrations, firmware upgrades, site onboarding, troubleshooting, and new deployments. Although this information is available in Aruba Central, gathering it manually can take time during a deployment or cutover. This tool provides a faster, focused way to collect key data, run validation checks, and generate a report for as-built documentation.
It supports command-line and web-based execution, using Aruba Central APIs to retrieve inventory, site, status, and firmware details before running validation and troubleshooting commands for supported device types.
This is a fork off the Aruba Central Python Workflows project adds focus on cutover validation, firmware visibility, web execution, live progress tracking, and operational reporting. This technote "Device Validation Tool for New Central using APIs" takes you through it.
