Wireless Access

Hello,

I have a mobility conductor, controller setup, all virtual. I run 8.10.0.14_90752 on both controller and conductor.

When I try to add an AP (345) to an AP group, it refuses to add the device to this new group.

Every time the AP is provisioned which required the reboot the AP will stick to the "default" AP group

Any suggestions?

If everything was as easy as this, thank you that worked, it turned out I had to edit the "Allowlist"

Highly recommend you not set the device name or group in the allow-list.

Very much agree with Carsons advise. If you wont to have more flexibility to migrate APs from group to group and renaming them, then don't fix it in allow list. 

If you have those fixed, you will most probably forget to change allow list when moving/renaming APs and will be very upset as provisioning was not done as you think it will. Been then don that many times. It cost additional reboots and some bad will until you remember to do it the right way :-)
