I'm trying to upgrade from 6.4.2.6-4.1.1.6_50009 to ArubaInstant_Taurus_6.5.4.3_61959.

The question here is, I'm planning to upgrade it via the GUI, by going into Maintenance > Firmware > Select Image file and then upgrade.

I have 3 IAP-205 in that cluster, by doing that, it will automatically deploy to all 3 of them? is it safe to upgrade them that way?

The idea of the upgrade is to add 2 IAP-305 which will have the same ArubaOS version.

The lastest available firmware for your IAP-205 is now ArubaInstant_Taurus_6.5.4.17_75343. And for the IAP-305 is now ArubaInstant_Ursa_6.5.4.17_75343.

Update from the virtual controller GUI will update all three AP in a safe way.

All Access Point in a virtual cluster have to run on the same firmware. So that it's fine.

Create always a backup before proceed a upgrade.
