    Hi All

Please would someone advise if they have had issues when updating to 16.11.0004
I plan on conducting updates across models 2530s,2540s,2930F,2930M,3810M and the next latest conservative release by the vendor is 16.11.0004
I have Aruba central and standalone management access but I see a pop-up that there would be new CLI change, just would like to know if its safe to proceed with this version

Looks like some additions to the CLI (like OSPF distribution-list) https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/AOS-Switch/RN/16.11/AOS-S%20Switch%2016.11.0004%20Release%20Notes.pdf

Could you test on one of the switches before doing them all?

    Hi Dustin Burns

Yes , it would seem like new CLI features have been added to the release
Will try Updating on the 2530 and monitor, just awaiting client approval since its a production network
I also have logged a ticket with ARUBA TAC

Thanks , will let you know the outcome

Why not move to AOS-Switch 16.11.0007 (0007 is the latest software build of 16.11 Branch)? it was released just few weeks ago (05-10-2022).

    Hi there

I am looking for the latest conservative release as its more reliable as per the vendor
There is an active case with TAC, wanted to use the platform to see if anybody has successfully updated to 0004.

    Thank you

Would be interesting to understand in which way the AOS-Switch 16.11.0004 build is "conservative" (the same is valid for 0003 build, as example) compared to 0005, 0006 or 0007 newer builds (side note: going into whole 16.11 is as less "conservative" as possible).
