  • 1.  US vs UK date format

    Posted Sep 27, 2021 09:00 AM
I have seen a number of posts here about changing the date format on Airwave to something other then US. Some suggestions are really very old and do not seem to be possible on more recent version of Airwave. Other posts just say not it is not possible.
Is there anyway to change date formats to dd/mm/yy ?
I would have expected setting the timezone to pick a standard date format based on the usual locale settings for that area but this does not seem to be the case.

From what I see in other posts, is that this comes up every now and then, but has not made it to a product feature. There is an entry in Innovation Zone (NMS-I-1461) where your local Aruba SE can add comments and customer information. This is how new features are selected by the product management team. I added my vote for it as I prefer the 'rest-of-world' format as well.

    Thanks Herman
you have done way better than me - I can't even find the Innovation Zone - searching AirHeads and Aruba support site for it yealds nothing (neither does NMS-I-1461)
I may be being dense but where do I find the Innovation Zone so I can vote for this?

Innovation zone is accessible for Aruba partners and internal Aruba. This specific item, NMS-I-1461 is only visible for internal.

Your local Aruba SE can add 'votes' and your customer information to that item. If you don't know a local Aruba SE, send me a personal reply with your contact details, company name/information and the size of your deployment, I can then add it in the system on your behalf.
