Using HPE 5940/5950 for 16Gb FC?

    Hello,

    is it possible to use HPE 5940/5950 for 16Gb fibre channel, only?

    For the former 5930 switching series I can find an FC configuration guide, but not for 5950 or 5940, although FC is mentioned within specification sheets (somehow)

    Do those switches support the full fibre channel stack like the Brocade fibre channel switches? What´s the difference?  It seems those HPE switches cannot be used with 16Gb (long wave) 10km and (extended long wave) 25km optics? Does anyone know more?

    As far as I know the ports are 10GbE based and only supports 8Gbit FC.
