I have a V3000 running R6_5_20. I would like the have a button on the recestionist desk that when help is needed she can push a button on the attentant console and it broadcast a recorded message to a page zone that "help is needed to the front".

Sort of what Lowes Hardware has when you need something it comes across the horns, "Assistance needed in the lumber yard."

Any ideas?

Brief description :

Telephone tab and select your ext number . Go into button mappings and pick a button . assign it as a Line / Ext and put in the page ext number for the button you want  eg , 6200 , 6201 , 6202 etc .

Reminder if you are set up as button groups . If you change a button in the group , it will affect any and all users assigned to that button group !

But how do I get it play the message once the page is started?

maybe I misunderstood . we cannot play anytihng except for a voice . we do not have stored messages . My comments were how to hook up paging . .....
