Hi all,

We are currently using the VIA client on our windows 7 build as a VPN solution. The solution uses Mobility Controller (7210) with Clearpass.

I notice the virtual adaptor the VIA software makes in Windows is currently fixed at 10Mbps.

Is this default behaviour? Can it be changed?

Hi I know this is an old thread, but I'm seeing the same issue, so I'm bumping it.  I can't seem to find a cause, or is this just a limitation of VIA?  I've tested Aruba VIA versions from 3.4 to the newest 4.0.

 

Controllers tested: 7210 and 7010 running the below software

Specs of the PC

Windows 10

64Bit

Aruba VIA 3.4, 4.0

One of the computers I've tested is on Wi-Fi, the other is running a 10Gb fiber adapter.

Did you actually try to do a speed test / IPerf test? I tried it in my setup and the VIA interface shows 10 Mbps as speed but I am actually able to get way higher speed when doing a speed test and connecting via full-tunnel...

Thank you for responding back.  In the past when I tested throughput I did so by copying files to and from a PC on my network, which ended up being around 10Mbs (this was on 3.2).  Recently I setup an iPerf3 server inside my network and it looks like I am seeing around 80Mbs now, so you are correct that it looks like it does exceed that listed interface speed.
