I'm looking for clarification as to whether enabling promiscuous mode is mandatory for a virtual Mobility Master deployment. My snenario consists of two VMMs in seperate DCs using L3 redundancy between them. I have read that promsicuous mode is required on the vSwitch or port group of the VM host for L2 redundancy. I wanted confirmation that it is required irrespective of the redundancy type. Can anyone help clarify?
