We are currently migrating from VMware to Huawei FusionCompute. As a result, VMTools need to be installed manually, unlike in VMware where they are installed automatically.

Is there any way to install the VMTools in this environment?
This is required because VMTools are mandatory for the VM backup process.

ClearPass is a virtual appliance, and is only supported on certain Hypervisors.

And because the ClearPass VM is an appliance, there is no access to the underlying operating system, and you can't install any other software. Backups should be done from the application, not on VM level.
