I am trying to figure out the Voice VLAN for my new Polycom SIP phone (Mac 00-04-f2-00-00-00). I added the OUI of the phone configured Voice VLAN and VLANS in general, inter vlan routing on my router + DHCP servers for each VLAN + ports to hybrid and trunk but it seems like it is not working the phone is not getting anything from DHCP it just sits there with “Waiting for network parameters†. Has anybody had it working ??



I am using for testing 4500 PWR switch with 3.03.00s168 Software Version but I am interested in other 3Com switches and their setup if anybody knows how to do this.

You also need to manualy configure each telephone to communicate using taged vlan with vlan id you are using for voice vlan.

Thank you - that is correct finally I read the documentaion to the end. For each added manually OUI there is only manual port mode...
