    Hello,

I have a customer with W450 Wirless card (internal card) and I can not get the card to recognize a active 802.11b access point. The system in question has Win2K on in and the utility show no activity. The utility is not allowing be to creat a profile ether.

    Thank you for your help.

Firts and foremost, there are still many compatibility problems between 802.11b and 802.11g devices of different brands and models.

The 802.11b Access Point that your customer has may not be recognizing signals from 802.11g wireless cards.

Check with the AP manufacturer to find out there is a firmware upgrade that is required.
