Drop Tx are the packets that are dropped during the transmission on that port, The collision Tx kind of indicate a mismatch on port duplex setting. caused by half duplex seeting. Make sure the client is set to auto-negotiate.

    Hi all,

I looking for more information about Drop Tx to better understand it.
Is Drops Tx the index of congestion?

Here an example of Drops Tx when I download a large file from a local file server.
I have no Drops Tx when I upload the same (large) file from the NB to the server.

I have an old HP 2620-24 version RA.16.04.0023
which has 24 FastEthernet ports and 2 GigabitEthernet ports.

I have Drops Tx packets when I download a large file (2 GB) from a local fileserver.
    To be clear:
I have a NB connected to Switch2620:Port10 (NB ethernet speed is 100 Mbps when connected to the switch)
    The Switch2620 has a 2Gigabit Trunk to a CoreSwitch
The fileserver is connected to the CoreSwitch.

    Here the interface statistics
