  • 1.  Where are the 10.13.1170 release notes?

    Posted 14 days ago

I received my usual software release notification email, and I see 10.13.1170 for the 6400 was published April 24.

However, following the release notes link, heading to the 6300/6400 tab, and clicking the "versions" drop down menu, 10.13.1170 is not an option.

    What am I missing here?

Where can I find the 10.13.1170 release notes?

Thank you for offering that alternative.

Note: Many of the release notes links in the latest HPE email are now 100% broken. (they at least used to take you to the website I originally posted the screenshot of).

Thanks for posting this. I had checked for 10.16.x release notes earlier this week and gotten the same NOT FOUND error; figured I would check back later this week and it's still broken. Shoutout to @ariyap for providing an alternate link.

My assumption was the release were embargoed until the Linux kernel exploit (or OpenSSH) was publicly disclosed however the 6100 release notes are available so might just be an oversight. There was enough in these release notes to be relaxed it's not as critical as the 10.16.1030/10.13.1161 update.

Thanks for the hint, but why are the release notes now hidden behind secret URLs? I was searching for information regarding 10.16.1040 on 10k switches and all links (in e-mails, on the "Networking Support Portal", links I used for years and so on) point to non-existing or outdated pages.

By the way, same for PSM: the links labeled as "Release Notes" on the "Networking Support Portal" now point to the user guide of PSM. Do you have also a non-disclosed URL for that?

I don't think it is a secret URL. My starting point is

    HPE Aruba Networking Documentation Portal

That's a good starting point, and well-known. But if you are on the "Networking Support Portal", looking for a new version of software, find one and also see a link nearby described like "Release Notes", someone might expect to follow the link and find according release notes. Same for receiving subscribed notifications by e-mail. Just saying ...

For AMDs Pensando Services Manager I still cannot find a working link on Aruba pages. Unfortunately, AMD hides its documents behind a login, too.
