Wireless Water Cooler

We're looking to move about 100 printers from the traditional cable connection to WiFi with EAP-PEAP. Due to desktop not involving my team in the past, desktop rolled out SOHO wifi print servers. End users experienced poor performance and issues. Wanted to see what folks are using out there in the real world with good experience. Also what about AirPrint and printer servers. Any feedback ?

The experience with enterprise wireless printing has always been so bad that I always move them back to wired and use a printer server that is capable of AirPrint and DLNA printing.
