Controllerless Networks

Hi everybody. I've read many topics related to this subject, but all are old.

I've noticed that this feature is available now for 11ac IAPs. I'm running the last version 8.6.0.2 (build 73853).

I've tried many ways to connect the IAP to another SSID to use another access point as uplink for my IAP.

I've followed all the steps in many topics and for my surprise, nothing works properly.

Here's what I've configured (my passphrase has letters in uppercase, lowercase, numbers and an @. I think this isn't a problem)

wlan sta-profile
 essid TP24
 cipher-suite wpa2-ccmp-psk
 wpa-passphrase xxxxxx
 uplink-band dot11g

My Uplink Priority List is the wifi-sta.

Here's the status.

IAP225# show wifi-uplink status
  Configured: YES
  Enabled: YES
  State: PROBE

I've also followed all the steps in this topic and the IAP doesn't connect.

I've noticed that sometime the 2.4 radio disables automatically (Radio Led off) and the wi-fi uplink status modifies as below.

IAP225# show wifi-uplink status
  Configured: YES
  Enabled: NO
  State: NONE

[UPDATE]

I've also tried to connect to an open SSID. This option didn't work.

This is my issue as well, anyone have any recommendations?
