    I have a Compaq Evo Notebook N600c. But I don't know how to use wireless LAN on it (802.11b standard). Please help me !

    The mini pci slot of N600C is under the keyboard. We have 802.11b wifi card and antennas for N600C.

    The miniCard slot on the N600c was not engineered to support a WLAN card (no LED, power rails, etc), it is meant for the modem and NIC.

    Your best bet is use a PC Card.

    The n600c may not have been engineered for a wireless pci card but you can use an internal mini pci wireless card in the N600c and it will work. You will need to update your bios to the latest version. I have currently installed the Atheros mini pci card and I am now enjoying 108Mbps of speed. Look at eBay you can get them there for pretty cheap.

    I would like to try this out myself, adding a wireless card. Which bios version is required, and does it utilize any kind of antenna? I know a wireless device is supposed to be mounted on the lid of the laptop, but i would rather use a mini pci. I am worred that it will not get good range. Please advise if you have any extra information.
