Wireless Access

I have wireless network WRT54G (Comcast)
I have no issue with other XP computers.
But with this Pavillion (Broadcom WLAN) the signal shows excellence but speed is slow as dial. I tried disable firewall, virus software ... but problem still there.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
