    hello all

I ran a survey over a last number of days

please see attached sample output for signal strength

the heat map does not look as I expected

Q could this type of output relate to faulty survey software or technique ?

What survey software and equipment do you use?

Does the data that you see here match up with the experience that you (or your users) have?

One thing with all mapping/design/survey is to make sure that map scaling is correct, and most tools can switch between meters or feet, which may set off your scale by a factor 3 if set incorrectly.

    Thank you for the reply

I am using Ekahau Pro with a wireless NiC as the adaptor

    The scaling is correct

I also note the reporting is not producing any information for the 5GHz band when selected from the reporting template

You would probably be best off looking for resources on how to use Ekahau.
