WL300 for WinXP
After inserting wl200 card, when XP boots and detects new hardware do NOT let XP install software automatically. select don't search I will choose the driver to install. select you want to install a network card select have disk (point to the setup folder where you put wl300 and NETNDC2K.INF file) install driver disregarding all the XP complaints about the driver.

When prompted, select restart manually later. click "start", click "run", type "msconfig" and click "OK". go to the "Startup" tab an un-check "Configuration Utility" C:\Compaq\11MBPS~2\config.exe" click "ok" Restart the system when prompted.
