  • 1.  WPA3 support for dot11r

    Hello,

I'm trying to find a definitive answer as to whether WPA3 opmodes support dot11r (particularly wpa3 enterprise). A bit of reading around suggests the answer is that it isn't supported due to weaknesses in the key exchange algorithm. However as is the way with searching for anything on the internet I have found both yes's and nos! Could anyone elaborate on the situation, and if it isn't supported (or recommended) then is there another fast transition alternative that can be used?

    Many thanks,

    Guy

802.11r is fully supported with WPA3 and WPA2.

The question around support of 802.11r is more a question of the client compatibility/behavior rather than the association/authentication scheme.
