Wireless Access

I have a topology based on:

1 x 5500G as Core switch provide L2 Vlan and L3 Routing

1x WX3024 Wireless switch provide wireless access trought a A7760 FIT mode AP connected direclty to.

1x NAP 2008 Raidus server provide dynamique 802.1x /EAP authentication for wired and wirelss LAN connections.

the issue is :

We have configured a wireless service profile to provide a secure LAN access for mobile users trought 802.1x EAP authentication with dynamique WEP shared encryption key.

When a activate wirelss service on secure mode with 802.1x authentication, the clients can't get authentication popup after configuring a static wireless profile on windows to support a 802.1x and WEP encryption for the same SSID linked on Wireless service profile.

on wireless controller switch, we have configured a radius scheme to talk with external NAP raidius to provide authentication regarding preconfigured 802.1x attributes

N.B :when we use a static WEP or WPA preshared key without 802.1x authentication user can access to wireless service SSID after successing authentication.

any idea about this issu

This is a version problem.

I took the same problem in one client.

Upgrade the firware to the last version WX3000-CMW520-R3111P09.

When i upgraded the firware, the user received the requisition about the username and password.
