    Hello Bianco,

From the previous discussion I understand that you are trying to create a Captive Portal page and it is not working without PEF license or If you nable the PEF feature the APs are not conencting if there is a AP reboot.

I assume you have only AP license features installed on the controller.

No PEF-NG or RFP Licenses intstalled.

The problems, seems more related to the role and the PEF License.

You can create/delete/modify roles and policies, only if you have PEF installed.

I would suggest, instead of creating the Captive Portal over GUI, you can try to create it over CLI.

you can check the default/existing roles, show roles

Or you can use the GUI, but use the role-name to the any of the default one, such as, guest--> for post authentication, logon--> without Captive Portal Ploicy& guest-logon--> with captive portal policy

Also, it seems, even after you managed to create the Captive Portal profile but the users are not getting the Page.

I assume, but they are able to browse and access network, could be the reason they are getting the "Authenticated" role or the "logon" role doen't have the policy to stop the user from accessing the network without authentication.

Check the role of the users and the aaa-profiles.

    - show aaa state station <mac address>

    - show aaa-profile <AAA profile Name>

    - show rights --> Check for the Captive portal policy/Filter that do redirection

Please share whether this solution worked out for you. Please share the above outputs, if you need further help.
