Hello I have a Customer who wants to know if its possible to make the E2810 generate a SNMP trap if a link fails. He needs a written ensurance that its possible but I can´t find something like this.
Could you guys help me?

Link up/down traps are in the basic SNMP MIB, so it would be surprising if they weren't implemented.
The best I can find is in the Management and configuration guide:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/networking/software/2810-AdvTrafficMgmt-July2007-59914733.pdf
(page 12-20), where it's merely implied that it send link up/down traps.
