Hi, 

  We currently have a stack of 2930F switches, we are planning to add more switches to the stack and I would like to know if the switches that get added to the stack retain their interface config or would that be wiped out? The ones we want to add are already configured and and in production and would be good to retain the config on each interface. If they are to get wiped, any quick solution on how to add the config back to those interfaces once the switch joins the stack?

The switches that are added to the existing stack will reboot and received the configuration from the commander. It is possible to pre-provision the configuration by define the member in the configuration. For example

 vsf member 5 type jl264a mac-address abcdef-123456

After this it is possible to define the interface configuration for the new switch stack members.
