    Posted 11 days ago

Hello Team, I have purchased about 6 ARUBA devices from a company, this company sold them to me. I have the receipt. Today I want to connect two Aruba 315 devices to the network and it joins my network, but when I connect them to the Internet they get a different configuration that does not belong to my network. What can I do to unlink it from any other configuration.  I attach the serial numbers of my equipment.  AP ARUBA 315 SN: CNG4J0T9K8, CNMQJ0T51K. How do I delete the configuration?

First make sure you do a factory reset. If still occurs, you should reach out to the company who sold you them and ask them to remove them from their Central account. If that fails, you can try TAC if you've got proof of purchase and an account with active support. Otherwise, you'll need to block them from reaching Central at your network firewall.

There is a process to convert from AP to IAP using an AOS 8 controller. https://airheads.hpe.com/community-home/digestviewer/viewthread?MID=32849#bm902adb41-93fc-4c8f-9720-5c9f1ad7a8fc

Please note that if you have AP-315 (as in not IAP-315), converting into Instant mode is unsupported and may or may not have the desired result. Some people report it works fine, others have issues and can't make it work.

The migration feature in the controller is only officially supported for a migration to AOS10, which goes via Instant mode for practical reasons.
