    I need some assistance!

    I'm having trouble getting AOS-S switches send Hostname information to aruba-central. I got it to work on AOS-CX, see below configurations:

    AOS-CX IP/Hostname:

    ip client-tracker


    int vlan 1
    ip client-tracker

    device-fingerprint profile a
    (a)dhcp
    (a)cdp
    (a)http
    device-fingerprint apply-profile a 1/1/1-1/1/52

    And for AOS-S switches, to get IP information you do 

    ip client-tracker

    you can use "device-fingerprinting" policy as well

    check this extract from the user guide 

    I generally add this policy for my 2930 switches.

    device-fingerprinting policy "dfp"
       dhcp
       http
       lldp
       cdp
    device-fingerprinting apply policy "dfp" 1-48

     I have applied those configurations to my 2930 sandbox, but unfortunately the issue is still occurring, hopefully TAC will assist!
