    Hey Airheads,

    I'm having problems activating Central Device Insights with a new 6.12.5 installation. 

    PCAPS should traffic resolving and going out but failing with no error logs recorded. 

    Have tried activating lab server using same token and also 6.10 server in customer network and all failed.

    Doubting its a firewall issue as i've tested externally. 

    any ideas?

    TAC case has been open for 4 days with no action or result.

    Have you imported the COMODO Domain Validation Secure Server CA (with Usage: Others)?

    Links on the Comodo site appear broken at the moment, but you can simply get it from your browser when you are connected to Central, view the certificate, select the intermediate and export as PEM. If that doesn't work, here is the certificate as well:

    The requirement to install this certificate in the ClearPass Trust List has been documented somewhere, but didn't search for it.

    Hey Herman,

    Thanks for your reply. yes the certs were preloaded and enabled. 

    I think this was a central platform issue at the time. i waited two days for the activation key to refresh , still failed, waited another two days and it mysteriously started working. TAC could not find anything (whether they were even looking - its hard to say). logs from CPPM didn't show anything useful.
