Network Management

Hi, so I am trying to run "diag utilities snmpwalk oid ifdescr" on a CX-6100 and I get the error, "Timeout: No Response from localhost." I have tried a couple other OIDs derived from MIB files I found for the CX, but they keep returning the same error. I am not sure if there is anything else that needs to be configured or if it just not supported for this switch.

Model: JL675A

Do you have snmp server enable in switch?
(cli: snmp-server vrf default)

Oh and another thing: On top of running snmp-server you need also proper community name there in command!

I found out that I was missing the SNMP community string at the end of the command after the OID part "community ???". I also used public as a community string for testing and was able to run the command. Thanks for the help!
